All Day, Waiting for Another Sun to Rise

Within this show, a post-apocalyptic landscape through a queer and disabled lens is reimagined. ‘Apocalypse’ has its roots in the Greek, with apo (‘off’) and kalýptein (‘cover’) forming apokalýptein: uncover or reveal. Often articulated through a flood, the waters reveal what comes after. Wickett’s post-apocalyptic landscape builds a world which continues after something which should be world-ending.
